As the title sponsor of NASCAR, Sprint developed the Sprint Cup Mobile app to give fans real-time access to races from wherever they were. The problem? NASCAR super-fans don’t always get to spend their Sundays on the couch. Sprint needed a spot that would show how the app could keep fans connected no matter where life pulls them.
Every NASCAR fan has a super-fan inside—one who’s loud, loyal, and not great at waiting for updates. And while they might be buried beneath birthday parties, backyard chores, or buttoned-up responsibilities, the super-fan is always in there. Sprint Cup Mobile didn’t just help fans follow the race—it let them unleash their inner NASCAR maniac, anytime, anywhere.
We created a spot featuring a dad mid-princess-party, heading to the garage for a bag of ice—only to find his NASCAR alter ego waiting for him. Played by comedian Rory Scovel, both the dad and his super-fan doppelgänger battle it out over priorities, peer pressure, and the undeniable pull of live racing. It’s a comedy of questionable choices, but with Sprint Cup Mobile in hand, there’s no wrong time to fuel your fan.
