Toyota wanted to highlight one of its real-world innovations—the Toyota Human Support Robot (HSR)—as part of the broader “Start Your Impossible” campaign. While most spots focused on abstract or emotional expressions of mobility, this one needed to feature an actual product in a way that still felt imaginative and human. The goal was to show how Toyota’s technology can create a sense of independence and carefree wonder—giving even the youngest users the freedom to explore and enjoy life on their own terms.
For a child living with limited mobility, the ability to summon a snack or grab a toy with a tap of a screen wouldn’t feel like robotics—it would feel like magic. That small, everyday freedom would be transformational. And because kids naturally experience the world through imagination, we realized this technology wouldn’t just be helpful—it would be a superpower.
For this spot, we wanted to blur the line between fantasy and reality. The story unfolds as a dreamy, cinematic journey through a young boy’s imagination—but at the end, we sense he isn’t imagining the magic at all. His superpower is real—and it’s powered by Toyota’s Human Support Robot. The robot isn’t the star. The boy is. And Toyota is simply giving him a tool that makes independence feel like something wondrous.
