VW had a strong offer for their latest sales event: a discounted vehicle plus a $1,000 fuel card. The brief was to deliver that message in a way that stood out from the usual deal-speak—something with personality, humor, and just the right amount of competitive energy.
When you’re getting two perks in one deal, it’s only natural that someone’s going to try and take the credit—especially if you have more than one salesperson in the room.
We created a series of spots featuring two VW salespeople vying to out-pitch each other in front of customers, each claiming credit for part of the offer. The banter, one-upmanship, and perfectly awkward tension gave the sales message a dose of classic VW comedy, while driving home the idea that customers were walking away with a double win.
